During his time at the g20 summit, president Obama was loved by many and respected by all; the complete opposite of our previous president George Bush. Some of the issues that were discussed at the g20 summit were:
- Tougher supervision of banks and hedge funds
- An action to restore global growth
- International cooperation to restore global growth in emerging markets
- Start global trade with a minimum of $100 billion on trade finance
- Meet pledges of overseas aid
Can anyone honestly say that George Bush ever mentioned these very important issues. As I look at the pictures of the world leaders smiling and giving a thumbs up, I can only think of how much things have changed. It is well documented that many of the world leaders did not like George Bush nor were they willing to work with him on global issues. There is no doubt that our current president has brought “change” to the globe.
We now have a president that we can be proud of when he goes to solve global issues. We no longer have to be worried about getting embarrassed or shunned because of our leader. As always, make sure to vote for President Obama on the Dollar here. We are trying to get over 1 million votes, so tell your friends!

Actually it seems to me that Obama has done more in every 8 day period than bush did in 8 years…oh wait, I forgot about the wars Bush started and the liberty he stomped on with the Patriot act, suspension of habeas corpus and …oh never mind. You get the idea. I’m very glad we have a president who can actually complete a sentence!

I guess we can not resolve this pirate issue because the ACLU will not allow the Obama administration to listen in to their radio transmissions. A 4 year comedy show 8 days at a time.
You’ll be loving Obama’s “fixes” when we’re no longer in control of own currency, economy and debt. You’ll be needing an internationally-sanctioned debit card to buy products by the time Obama’s done.
Right now China just about owns this nation because they’ve bought up our debt (and, along with it, the soul and future of this nation).
So, yeah, keep congratulating Obama’s leaps and bounds. Just don’t start protesting against him, alongside the protestors you mock now, when it’s too late
Cina has BEEN buying our paper IOU’s much longer than Obama has been in office so get with the true facts. The selling of America started BIG TIME with Clinton—” Shrub” just enhanced it……before that the Arabians and before that Japan bought our paper. We ALL need to live within our means and insist our government do the same. Really do the pre-school and Kindergarten kids need designer clothes? Who cares what brand of “stuff” you buy. After a while others think you are just a witless jerk.
Evil never sleeps, they say, but nor does sour cynicism of this country which is sad. Obama is doing what a president should - giving it his all. It’s been three months, and we’re already putting our commander-in-chief on the grill. This is a hard problem, the economy. We’re not the only ones hitting it low. Obama is trying to help, not mislead or lie (like Bush did). Might be against your nature, but try giving him a chance instead of firing off your machine guns all at once. Don’t you see he’s trying to help you? And all you can think to do is bite him just cause you ain’t earning a million yet. Real noble of you. Really. Wonderful patriot, you are.
If he wants to make something that’s illegal legal, he should make marijuana legal. At least that would pump some money into the system through taxes and money not spent on law enforcement rather than having the “legal illegals” draining money out through welfare and healthcare and whatever other govenment incentives they happen to be given.
Karen…this president can only speak with a teleprompter present, otherwise he makes gaffes like thinking Austrian is a “language” and likening his bowling abilities to a “Special Olympics” he has no sensibility to others.
How quickly YOU forget that Sept 11 2001 started the offensive against Iraq… Clinton failed to respond to previous attacks on the USS Cole, on the Marine barracks and also the bombing of the garage at the World Trade Center which made al quaida bold enuf to take on the U.S. and take down the towers…failure of the previous democratic presidency to deal with these people when he could resulted in Bush having to deal with them early on in his presidency. We should certainly hope that this pres does well…but it remains to be seen…and all the hype isn’t to be believed…it’s all about the results.
Mr Obama has done more damage to America in less than 90 days in office than we will be able to undo in 10 years. Loved by all, did you say? Sure, he was ‘loved’, he gave away everything and got nothing in return. Of course, the socialists love him, because they hate capitalist America. America is looking very weak in the eyes of the world. Weakness is NEVER respected-only strength.
To say that someone is the fastest runner, doesn’t do much good if they’re running the wrong way around the track. This leadership is both arrogant and ignorant of the very constitution they vowed to uphold. Bush had his mistakes, but for the most part, at least understood the direction that needed to be run, which BO is following somewhat. Too bad BO doesn’t understand still…….
Who writes this crap, Chris Matthews? How come he didn’t visit the graves in Normandy? He had time to go all over Eroupe, selling us out, and placing blame on the US for everything that has happened all over the world. Whose bailed out Eroupe in the last two World Wars, sending our youngest and bravest to die on foreign soil.
Karen, I suspect you are a well educated writer, thanks to govt grants and student loans, which I am sure you hoped Obama would write off in one of his spendulous bills. What I would like to know is in your 10 years of experience, have you ever had to run a company where other people’s livelyhood depends on you? Have you ever had a job that actually MADE something? Well your fearless leader chairman Maoboama hasn’t either. A man that went to school as a professional student, became a community agitator(excuse me, organizer), and a political figure has no real business experience. He is playing with your life as well as mine. But he can read a teleprompter. I guess that makes up for everything.
it is so sad to read so many ill-informed and almost illiterate comments that are based on one reason. The reason. So many people just simply hate that the nation waited so long to elect a president who is intelligent; a communicator; a leader by example; one who obviously studies issues before making any detailed commentary; one who is hansome; one who is physically attractive; one who is analytical; one who is fair and impartial; one who has been on the same level as the low income layman; one who shares and feels the same as the poor and indigent, as well as one can have meaningful dialogue with anyone at any level.
Unfortunately, there have been just a few past presidents who have such a pedigree.
It’s not that the ill informed are displeased with President Obama. They are displeased with themselves for having waited so long to elect someone like thecurrent president. While the long period endured, the previous rich presidents made two choices - while you just went along.
One, to keep the rich rich and allow greed to take place and make them richer.
Second choice was to keep the poor and ignorant poor and ignorant.
So sad.
This is the time to enjoy this ride because this train has left the station and it will be a long time before another train like this one will be coming into the train station again.
