Is Obama Dividing This Country?

obama-splitting-this-country

No one can mince words and claim that the entire United States is strongly in favor of President Obama.  He does have a moderately high job approval rating in his first 75 days, but there are those who are strongly against any action he takes.  The divide is split right down the center of party lines: 88% job approval from Democrats and 27% job approval from Republicans.  The 61 point partisan gap is even greater than that of George Bush who reached a 51 point partisan gap in the first few months of his first term.

It is very obvious that most Democrats love President Obama while most Republicans despise him.  Unfortunately this is going to continue to split America.  We all need to agree on one thing: President Obama is our leader and we must stand behind his actions and decisions.  If we continue to be split on every political issue, we will not make the progress we need to end this recession in the near term.

For all of those who are against President Obama, please step back, look at the big picture and realize that he is going to be the leader of this country for four years.  You can dislike it all you want, but it is the truth.  Have some unbiased prespective and make educated decisions based on YOUR beliefs and not the beliefs of your political party.  If this is the case, I would venture to guess that you agree with many, although not all, of the things President Obama is trying to do to make your country a much better place to live.

As always, make sure to vote for President Obama on the Dollar here. We are trying to get over 1 million votes, so tell your friends!

i think he is a very arrogant far left loon, yes you said right when you said hes the pres for the next 4 yrs.whether we like it or not ,your right we have to deal with it ,our whole way of life has turned up side down, what was once right is politcally incorrect its like the twilightzone, yes i feel hes dividing this country, but its not all him our values has changed ,its fine to kill babies in the womb, bankrupt our country, kiss up the leaders of other nations, including rogue nations,i think he soft and clueless,i’m not a racist,i just happen to be an african amer. who does not agree what he stands for.i pray that GOD guides us through these difficult yrs.there is an old saying,be careful what you ask for you just might get it!

  2. I think we, citizens of this great nation, are dividing amongst ourselves.. President Obama hats off to you for rising above fear, anger, doubt, hatred, religion and most importantly, thank you for inspiring me to better myself and to do more for my community. I’m so thankful to God that you have the ability to look pass all of what we Americans identify with and instead look to the one life and one love that we all are and that is God!

The thing that amaze me is how people are so dumb and blind that they can not see thru what is happing to our country. We were blessed with a prophet years ago who told us that this was going to happen, And it is not good. This much be the generation that will be turned into hell. They have no feeling for an unborn child and when they agree they become murders at heart. Full of lust and sin. Lots of things lead up to this day we live in. No fear of God or respect for life. No honer among themselves. Men with men. Women with Women doing that the bible calls a reprobate mind. Gods word says he would turn them over too. When they knew the truth they did not love it so this is what happens to those ungodly people and all that receive them with receive the same judgement of God. How awful it is to fall into the hand of an angry God. God is as a cosumming fire. Get your heads out of the sand and look, look, look. At that is happing. you thought that president Bush was bad and some of you hated him. Now you are reaping what you sowed. Repent and May God have forgiveness for all who voted for Obama

I have to agree with Traci. He is very arrogant and (in spite of his being avery well educated man) he appears to be ignorant about the REAL solutions to our economic problems that have been shown to be much more effective than this idiotic SPEND SPEND SPEND approach. Anyone who is so unwilling to look back at the solutions (used by Ronald Reagan) which have been proven to be most effective in the past is basing their refusal to do so on the partisan attitude that “anything that worked for a Republican must be avoided at all cost”. We CANNOT spend our way out of this financial mess! Even the Europeans with their history of Socialist regimes and Socialist programs are telling him this will NOT work. He obviously will not listen to ANYONE, which makes him an extremely dangerous leader for our country. His total unwillingness to listen to the people, including a lot of economic experts, will be the destruction of our economy and eventually or country.

I am not against him being President for the next 4 yrs because he won the election, but I see him as a person who would like to become a dictator and do as he says or else. He is doing things in an irrational way and his party is behind him without realizing that he will change the nation for the worse. I don’t see the jobs he is opening up for those who have lost their jobs. I see him giving corporations bailout money that they use to pay their CEO’s. If people want to unite America, the president should stand for fairness for everyone, not just the democrats.
Some day, those who elected him will see the real person he is: a socialist with fake ideas who will destroy the American way of life!

I am an independent who finds Obama intellectually shallow and morally bankrupt. Obama is our leader? How naive! Can you say Soros?

Why is it that when there is a president from the democratic party republicans are supposed to step back and do what’s best for the good of the country, but when there is a republican president it’s no holes barred for the press to attack from all sides. Can someone please could explain this to me

Obama/aka Soetoro refuses to establish his constitutional and legal eligibility to be president because he can’t. It is no secret he was born in Kenya from a mother who was not 19, therefore, could not pass on citizenship to him, that he became an Indonesian naturalized citizen by virtue of being adopted and attending public school in Indonesia, has used an Indonesian passport and is not even a naturalized American citizen.

Furthermore, this flim flam piece of human excrement recently BOWED to the Saudi flee bag king. No prior president has ever done something as disgraceful and demeaning as this common criminal.

But of course, bowing to the Saudi king is mandated by Islamic law since he is the guardian of Meccaand the whor*s of the mainstream media, DNC thugs, and assorted goons who have fallen for this flim flim will do all they can to spew their loathsome propaganda to save their own skins.

I pretty much agree with Traci’s comments. A couple of thoughts would be - 1) should you be thinking he is doing such a great job pray your grandchildren can afford the debt paydown, 2) my concern is not who he is but look at the track record. Subjected to a radical hatred spewing preacher for 20 years and never heard anything he doesn’t believe in, 3) it appears most of his associates have extremely shady credentials, 4) obviously an abortionist, 5) certainly a socialist, 6) perhaps the most revolting act our president is to bow down before the Saudi king, absolutely sickening.
For you not to see any of this puts the 80% in question. God bless America….

Screw you. Where were you with your moderate stance when the left went nuts over Bush? Now you want to look at the big picture? I already have and my big picture says that Barry is a leftist socialist product of affirmative action and media marketing whose skills are limited to community activist levels of ability.

I too think he is arrogant. We do have to deal with him for the next 4 years. I hope that those who did vote for him are happy and love everything he does for them, or, against them as their case may be, they voted for him, enjoy the ride. He is dividing this country. His approval rating means nothing, nor do the polls about George Bush when he was in office. The majority of the government is Democrat and has been for some time…..there is your poll results. If it were mainly republican the polls would lean toward republican… He is spending my kids money and expecting the wrong people in this country to step up and pay the bills for his decisions. am a small business owner, struggling to keep the employees I have employed. He should first look in his own backyard and the wasteful and ridiculous spending that goes on in Washington, too many people on the payroll Obama. Clean your house like you expect everyone else to do. You cannot tell someone else how to run their company, when you cannot properly run your own. Let me in there for a few weeks… It won’t take long to identify the waste and get rid of it! EVERYONE needs to take a long hard look at where they can save and Washington should lead the pack.

  13. Expect nothing less! Obama broought up race, color, denies citizenship, and his basic religion. He’s already told the world the “haves” are going to give to the “have-nots”. The incentive, gredd, ambition, pride one has or could have in accomplishment is totally minimized, distorted, and lacks responsibility. This is typical og Obama’s historical upbringing. We’ve elected the most inept, inexperienced, most verbal politician since Lincoln. His ambition is to preside this transformation for eight (8) years leading us into the greatest debts we’ve ever experienced and will take a lifetime to pay for. And Oh, Yes, blame it all on George Bush.

I guess “Admin2 never heard that the guy is a communist and besides that he cannot even speak without being prompted just as if he is a ventriloquist’s dummy. He is so far out in socialism that he thinks he is right where people want him. Machioveli died years ago so why is this loon occupying the executive mansion. No, he can be recalled just as Gray Davis was in California a few years ago. He is no Jesus Christ for this nation and only the blind like “Admin” want to follow him down the road to communism the lunkhead is dragging this country, kicking and screaming.

Guess you never thought you would be paying 40 or 50 or even 75% of your basic pay in taxes to dig out the mess this man has made in less time it takes iceberg lettuce to go bad.

The strange thing about this is… for 8 long years nobody question a thing Bush requested. This man could not even speak correctly, not to mention that he lied about weapons of mas destrution that never existed and blame it on the vice president. For 8 years he said the economy was sound but to find out his last year it was not sound it was failling into major debt(recession). In which, what ever Obama does, I’m behind it. I feel like people should have said something for 8 years not now. Some of the things he is doing is helping lower income people like me achieve and survive in the hateful world. Every proposal he has sent out somebody has something to say. I feel that his every move is being publically displayed so why have something to say. For ex. the stem cell research, you mean to tell me that scientist can help find a cure to help my grandmother with parkinson disease and that a bad thing. Come on people, lets be real. Who know what could happen. We eats eggs and that a baby so what the difference. Also let me touch that I’m African American, I did not vote for Obama because he was black. I voted because McCain never told me what he was about. He never stated how he was going to help lower income familys.(and that it’s not only black familys ,it’s every single race that is poor. )He campaign was very negative and offensive. His pick for vice president also hurt him.

Neville Chamberlain was loved by the liberals of his time, but the peace in our time deal that he gave Hitler helped to start world war 2. History has shown that attempt to appease enemies that have sworn to destroy us will only damage us in the end. Obama is showing a weakness that only emboldens our enemies. If in 1939 Neville Chamberlain had shown strength instead if weakness history would be much different. Obama and Clinton are showing weakness that I pray do not get us into another full scale war.

Divisiveness was not started by anyone one person. It has been an inherent phenomena of the two party system that boils down to who controls the purse strings. Those that attack a particular person from either party are the fodder of the powered elite, and have not the brains to recognize such. This very article panders to the base emotions that fuel such divisiveness, and is intrinsically counterproductive to a meaningful coexistence within the marketplace of ideas.

  19. arrogant, socialist, weak, dummy, ventroliquist??? OMG! I’m LOL! and LMAO!!! Jesse W. you got this one.. I hope your blog aims towards what you intend for it to aim toward.. Sending positive energy your, always. Take care!

    Is he dividing the country?

    YES.

Worse, he’s taking us down a road of bondage to socialism from which we may never recover.

Republicans are nothing but a bunch of “goose stepping’ Nazis. They believe everything they are told by their party in spite of the facts showing otherwise. I was a staunch Republican myself until Reagan coined the phrase “trickle down” and I saw it for what it really was: nothing but Facist propaganda designed to control people exactly like in third world countries. Make them think that their sacrifice to the wealthy is for their long term benefit while robbing them behind their backs. No Thanks! I’m now a Democrat and hope to eventually be a Socialist!

If all of you are saying what you have said, why is he the president? did you vote for him if not then oh well, it doesn’t matter anyway it was all solved before the american people can vote due to the electorial votes, seems to me just something else to complain about, he is the president so be it we had a president that put us in a ression and loved war, whats up with that?

This is definitly a divided nation. Just take an obective look at the responses to on this thread. Hate. All over the place. People feeling free to call other people any name (no matter how awful) any time. It is on ever web site you go to.

I am a registered republican. I am not a criminal, an idiot, or a racist. I have a very large family of which about 90% are democrates. My mother is a democrate. My mother is my best friend and I am very close with the majority of my family. Including distant cousins. The 10% of us that are registered repulicans are still welcome and loved by our democrate counterparts. My mother and I have made 27 calls this afternoon to known democrates in our family to do our own survey. To respond to the article above. None of the 27 democrates in my family contacted today agree with what President Obama is doing. They neither love or despise him. They do not care about his ethnicity. So, given the results of our little survey (biased toward the democratic party) we both feel the information in the above article may be eroneously stated.

President Obama may or may not have caused the dissention but he is certainly doing absolutely nothing at all to lessen it. Should you just let a wild fire burn itself out? Hhmm. Think of the destruction it would leave behind.

While I have deep concerns about the health of our economy and the perpetuation of our freedoms as we now know them, I also have a concern about the level of violence I see on most the internet sites I read through. It is like we have lost all sence of respect for other human beings. It is very health to debate but not when it turns into a hateful war of insults. We are all so very fortunate to live in a country where we are not imprissioned for speaking out againt what we feel is wrong. We have a responsibility to maintain that though. We should do it civilly. We are not a nation of “idiots” or “Nazis” or “racists.” Of course there are some. But all of us are giving the world the impression that we are basically uncivilized.

As for President Obama being our leader for the next for years… We the people of the United States still have the power to remove elected officials. He cannot do anything he wants and not be held accountable for his actions. He sought the office of President of the Untied States of America. This office is a privilage granted by the people of this nation. We will hold him accountable on everything. Just as we should with anyone put in this office. I for one will never accept that because a President is in office I have to take whatever he or she dishes out.

Obama is a disaster, and not because he is black, and I am not a racist. He is just a traitor. Wake up…before it is too late.

And by the way. A man half white, raised by white people is not a black president. He is just not all white. If it makes you feel better I just don`t like the white half. Get over it.
